Capstone Project Reviews

 I looked at 4 Learning Innovations Lab sites and used the following questions to guide my thinking.
1. Who was their audience?
2. Were they effective in presenting to them on every page?
3. Why or why not?

Saelee: When reviewing Saelee's site, automatically I was drawn in by the introductory statement of a "one size fits all" math curriculum in a classroom of diverse abilities. This site is obviously centered towards teachers. Saelee was effective in presenting her message to the teachers.  Everything she presents about teaching math is very relatable and usable to teachers probably in most grades. Her site is also very easy to navigate because it's not very "busy". 

Gottfried: Gottfried's site is definitely geared towards teachers, and more so towards teachers in middle or high-school. I think she gets her message across on how to create an explicit blog portfolio for her students. According to her site, blogging is and effective way to learn, inspire, and connect.

Ellison: Ellison's site is geared towards the teacher. Ellison is an innovative teacher that questions which skills do students need to successfully navigate the digital world. Her site is centered on how to have students improve their digital skills. I like that her site is easy to navigate with a lot of graphics. Plus she's an awesome colleague of mine.

Avrukin: This site seems to be geared towards teachers. The home page is very simple and focuses on the driving question with a promo video. I like how the site is simplified with the clear bulleted intentions. Seems like a user friendly site.
